WELGEMOED ADDITION
2019
The project was an outside recreational area addition to an existing house in the Welgemoed, Belville area.
The addition consists of a large covered patio, kitchenette, braai area, bathroom and storage.
The steel roof structure allows the space to be open and unobstructed. Windows on the back wall give glimpses of the trees behind. This gives the space a feeling of openness and transparency.
The polished concrete worktop and fire place together with build-in timber seating, gives robustness and an outdoor character to the space.
